As the year 2008 closes, I look back at it in total astonishment.  It's been the craziest year yet, I think.   I'll try to take this in categories, I believe, as it's too difficult to try and tackle everything at once.

I'm thinking that giving Bella back to the Humane Society would be the best idea.  This morning, I woke up because she was making a RACKET -- her foot had gotten caught in the blinds.  She was really scary, so I didn't get closer than I had to, I simply cut the blinds.

The couch that Eric bought for the apartment arrived yesterday at around 1 or 2PM.  So the next day at around 3PM, I discover that Bella, the cat, has already found it to be a lovely scratching post.  I don't have the time or energy to stay at home all day and make sure she doesn't scratch.  I'm going to try some anti scratching spray and encourage ( Read more... )

My birthday was yesterday, and before everyone gets all exciting thinking that something exciting is getting ready to be explained, CALM DOWN -- no such glory happened.

Well, I tried to adopt this past Friday -- Delilah, however did not work.  Her uterus was attached to her bladder so they'd have to remove it and then fix where her bladder had been messed up.  Needless to say, they put her down and we went on the hunt for yet another cat.  Lucky for us, there was brown medium haired tabby that JUST got spayed and ( Read more... )

Well, I went to classes, went to work, and came home.  All usual.  Eric left me some bourbon chicken in the fridge so I ate some and soon after felt as though I were going to throw up.  I told myself to breathe however and the sensation went away, although I was left nauseous for most of the night.

Annoyingly and interestingly enough, his nails are getting so long (because he won't let us clip them anymore) that he gets stuck to things.  Whenever he goes to his scratching chair (yes, he uses an old chair instead of his scratching post but we don't care, as long as they're the only two), he gets stuck and ends up having to climb up to dislodge ( Read more... )

I'm having a bit of an issue.  This is unusual for me because this time, I really don't know what to do or what I want to do.  Normally when I'm confused however, I know what I want to do, I just don't know if I should do it.  But right now, that's irrelevant.
